Drinking great beer shouldn’t be a solo effort — making it shouldn’t be either. At Padre, we’ve always understood that anything worth doing is worth doing with good company – brewing beer is no exception. Whether it’s sourcing the best ingredients from our suppliers, or building lasting relationships with our distributors – it’s a team effort to make sure Padre Beers meet our standard, and yours too. We aim to keep the quality of our beers high and the quality of our company, higher.
Like many good stories, this one started over a beer.
Many in fact, over many years, between founders Mitch and Pete. Best mates for 20+ years, their shared appreciation for quality beers and banter, would eventually lead to the idea of a brewery that would champion the love of quality beer, enjoyed with even better company. Friends, family, food or folly, they're all perfect partners for great beer. These likely partnerships, made sense to represent our own, so from there, Padre Brewing Company was formed.
Mitch and Pete were soon joined by Hospo lords and general biz wizards, Nath, Aaron and JD, who as founders of one of the best burger joints in Australia — ZePickle, could do more than throw their experienced hats into the ring, but also bring their passion and energy to building the Padre vision.
With the gang gathered, the idea of ‘good company’ actually started to make some sense. Now we just needed to make good on our promise of great beer.
